Adaptive Traffic Signal Final Design

MFS (formerly GEOD) was contracted to provide aerial topographic mapping of 32 separate intersections covering 13 miles along US Routes 1 & 9 to support adaptive traffic signal design.

New color digital photography was obtained and aero triangulated. Planimetric mapping was compiled directly at 1”=30’ showing all visible features. The aerial imagery was also ortho rectified into GeoTIFF format at 1/2ft pixel resolution. All data was formatted in MicroStation V8 using NJDOT’s standards, policies and procedures including Article 51, the 2014 NJDOT Survey Manual and NJDOT CADD Manual.
