Fulton Fish Market at Hunts Point - This was a new site plan for 28 acres of redevelopment at Hunts Point in the Bronx. A 10 acre building was constructed for Summer 2005 occupancy by the fish wholesalers currently located at Fulton Street in Manhattan. Parking was provided for over 2000 vehicles, including almost 100 tractor-trailers. A large brick arch drainage culvert passes underneath the parking lot, and a sanitary pump station was designed for an adjacent Department of Corrections facility.. In addition to being a waterfront site plan, it is also a brownfields site, and an air sparge remediation system was designed and installed. Water, sewer and drainage permitting was a large component of the project. Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Office Building Expansion - Addition of an 80,000 sq.ft. Medical office building attached to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. This was a very tricky design in that emergency vehicle and employee access had to be maintained both during and after construction. The emergency room entrance drive was elevated and the building connected to a hospital by a tunnel. Seven hundred new parking spaces were constructed, as well as two elaborate underground detention systems conforming to the New York State regulations. Plan approval was received in November 2005, and construction began in Spring 2006. Legends at Manhattan Woods - Ten lot private gated subdivision on the Manhattan Woods Golf Course in the Town of Orangetown, New York. Stormwater, subdivision, site plans, and landscaping plans were developed for this luxury homesite, with houses ranging from 7,000 to 15,000 square feet. The project was approved at the end of 2003, with all homesites completed by early 2005. Spackenkill Plaza - This was a new shopping center on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie, New York. It included a pedestrian friendly layout with mixed use of retail and hotel. A stream was re-routed and a complex underground detention system installed. Intersection modifications were made on Route 9, and DOT inspections were performed. Total floor area of about 100,000 sq.ft. Northern Services Group Water Main Extensions |
