York Power Authority GEOD provided surveying services to locate underground utilities (electrical cables, vaults, and fuel oil lines) at the Poletti Power Plant. These services supported the Authority's process of identifying and quantifying constraints that would impact the design of a proposed 500 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant and a 14-inch diameter fuel oil line. GEOD established horizontal and vertical control, located electrical cables, fuel oil lines, and vaults in three dimensions, and additional objects such as tanks and manholes. The mapping was provided in AutoCAD at a base scale of 1"=20'.
